In a remarkable stride toward promoting mental health education and emotional well-being in Taraba State, Angee Life Worth Foundation hosted a historic event that marked two major milestones, the Graduation Ceremony of the First Batch of the Mental Health Certificate Program and the Official Launch of the Mental Health and Wellness Initiative for Taraba State.
Empowering Minds Through Education
Speaking during the event, the Founder and Executive Director of Angee Life Worth Foundation, Dr. Mrs. Angela C. Oleka emphasized that mental health education is not just an awareness campaign but a movement toward empowerment and community transformation.
“Educating people about mental health is about giving them tools to thrive to understand their emotions, handle stress, and build healthier relationships,” the foundation’s representative stated. “When a community becomes mentally literate, it becomes more productive, compassionate, and united.”
The mental health certificate program, which is run by Angee life worth foundation in collaboration with Taraba state University, recently completed it's first training batch. Participants were equipped with essential knowledge in psychological wellness, emotional intelligence and community -based mental health advocacy.
Graduands of the program are now set to serve as Advocates and change agents in schools, workplaces, and communities across Taraba State.

The graduation ceremony was filled with excitement and pride as participants received their certificates a testament to their hard work and commitment to advancing mental health literacy.
