Abia State joined the world in commemorating the 2018 Global Girl-Child’s Day as girl, youths, and community leaders converged for a colorful celebration powered by Angee Foundation. The event, held in Umuahia, highlighted the theme of Girl-Child’s empowerment, equality, and their crucial role in nation-building.

In her welcome address, the coordinator of Angee Foundation noted that the day was not only about celebrating women but also about reflecting on the challenges they face and creating pathways for positive change.
